Samuel E. Brown is owner and Chief Executive Officer of PacketEx LLC and co-author of the computer book, How Do I. He earned a Master's of Science degree in Network Architecture from Capella University.
He has worked as a consultant for Tribalco designing network solutions and configuring network devices for installation at remote locations. He also has proven himself knowledgeable and reliable for high profile organizations such as the Air Force Central Command (AFCENT), Joint NETOPS Control Center – Afghanistan (JNCC-A), and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
A challenging assignment that Mr. Brown accepted required him to lead a team to upgrade and stabilize the Voice over IP (VoIP) system in Afghanistan. He found both technical and human error throughout the networks making his task difficult to accomplish. After working vigorously with different organizations internal and external to Afghanistan, Samuel was able to stabilize the network and improve communications after 90 days. Mr. Brown was awarded the Bronze Star because of his determination to stabilize the voice network.
"Technology is an ever changing creature that cannot be tamed nor controlled but, it can be guided." This is the quote that Samuel keeps in mind as he continues his journey in the field of computer technology.
